Pressure pipes from PE-100 polyethylene for gas supply

Polyethylene pipes PE-100 for the supply of flammable gases Ø 25 ÷ 500 mm, pressure up to 1.0 MPa, manufactured in accordance with DSTU EN 1555-2:2012.

Technical characteristics of gas pipes

The pipes are supplied in coils and straight lines. The length of gas pipes in lines or in coils is not regulated by the DSTU EN 1555 standard and can be agreed with the consumer.

The color of the pipes is black with yellow or orange stripes.

The pipes are connected by welding (with a heated butt tool or with the thermistor parts).

The advantages of polyethylene pipes for gas supply.

  • The lifetime is much longer than of metal pipes (warranty time 50 years);
  • Almost maintenance free due to the lack of cathodic protection;
  • Non-hydrophobic, resistant to aggressive substances;
  • Polyethylene pipes for gas supply are 2-4 times lighter than steel ones;
  • Polyethylene pipes for gas supply are capable to endure variable ground loads;
  • They have a simple and more economical welding technology;
  • TThe polyethylene joint does not require the use of insulation and electrodes;
  • Plastic pipes for gas supply can be laid by pulling;
  • Plastic pipes for gas supply have high elasticity and low coefficient of roughness of the inner surface.
